EXPLORAQUEST MELAKA - MELAKA CITY VIEW FROM BLOCK 1 MAHKOTA HOTEL - 7.2.2009

Staying in a high rise apartment block in Melaka Raya does have its advantages. Either you have a clear view of the sea or an even more exciting view of this Heritage City. In the foreground is Mahkota Parade with the revolving tower pole in the background

This city skyline shows the roofs of the old shophouses in the foreground with multi-storey shophouses in the middle and highrise apartment units further back

Different roofs for different abodes and most noticibly is the roof of the Melaka State Mosque in the background

The Melaka Fort is on the left fronting the majestic Melaka Sultanate Palace museum with the iconic St Francis Church in the background

The historic Dataran Pahlawan and the Independence Day Museum are in this pic. All pictures were taken in the early morning hours

Now who says there's nothing to see and nothing to do in Melaka?
