EXPLORAQUEST PENANG - PENANG NATIONAL PARK - 5.2.2009

This is the entrance of the Penang National Park located at Teluk Bahang. Visitors need to register themselves and obtain their entry permits here before they could enter the park. Entry is free of charge

The park was known as the Pantai Acheh Forest Reserve since 1928 and was re-gazetted as a National Park on 10th April 2003. However, it was not only until 2008 when this building became operational. This entrance lead visitors to the Lowland and Highland Dipterocarp
Forest. The main activities at the main entrance Hill Climbing, Jungle Trekking and Bird Watching


The Penang National Park has a second entrance located at Kg Sungai Pinang. This part of the National Park offers mangrove forest, wildlife observation and boating
