EXPLORAQUEST PENANG - 150 YEAR OLD TAU SAR PIEH SHOP IN JALAN BURMAH - 5.2.2009
At one glance it may look like a toy shop but this is a 150 years old heritage that produces the tau sar pieh
It could also have been mistaken as a shop that sells wooden flooring materials
But no..Chee Hiang sells edible "pearls of the orient" which the local dialect calls tau sar pieh.This place still awaits your discovery despite it having been around for more than a century
Now who says there's nothing to see and nothing to do in Penang?
