The "mini" is a small car originally produced by the British Motor Corporation. It was first produced in the 1950s.

The iconic minis are have a reputation of being able to offer 80% of the area of the car's floorplan to be used for passengers and luggage

The distinctive two-door minis were design by Sir Alec Issigonis


It's other famous counterpart in the then auto industry was the Volksvagen Beetle. In 1999, the Mini was voted as the second most influential car of the 20th century

This pre-war school is not clearly visible from the main road. It is partly hidden behind a multi-story shop. The way to the school is by the left side of the shop house

A row of wooden structured single storey classroom meets the eye first. Probably the oldest primary school in this area

At what is supposed to be the gate entrance, is a sign board that displays a school crest with a year mark on it - 1939

Well any one who was amongst its first students, he or she could still be around at age 70

The wooden part of the school is perhaps the most nostalgic feature of the school
